Community Health Network is Central Indiana’s largest provider of behavioral health, with an extensive continuum of treatment options. More than 4,700 inpatient stays and 19,000 outpatient total client visits a year are provided to patients ranging from age four to senior adults. Clients may be seen in individual, family or group therapy, utilizing psychiatric assessment and evaluation in the development of personal treatment plans by physicians, psychologists, advance practice nurses, therapists and counselors.

Adult behavioral health services

With services throughout central Indiana, Community provides individual, group or family therapies through inpatient and outpatient care.

Addiction and chemical dependency services are available with special programs tailored for the specific needs of adults and senior adults. Individuals are assisted in taking control of their lives and their dependencies through psychiatric evaluations, medication management and extensive outpatient addictions. Inpatient detoxification is available if a psychiatrist determines there is a medical necessity for it. For those dealing with serious problems relating to alcohol or drug use,partial hospitalization and extensive outpatient addiction services are available.

Youth behavioral health services

Growing up in today’s fast-paced society is a challenge no matter one’s age. Children with addictions may experience emotional and behavioral problems in trying to deal with issues at home, school or other important environments in their lives. Behavioral health services at Community Health Network provide expertise to support a wide variety of mental health conditions. The programs address age-specific problems in developing treatment plans for children from 5-18 years of age. Therapy is provided to individuals, groups, and families through both inpatient and outpatient care.

For those dealing with serious problems related to alcohol and/or drug use, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient addiction (IOAP) services are available. Detoxification from alcohol, benzodiazepines and certain types of narcotics is also provided in an outpatient setting.
